Looking around my house today, I noticed I have lots of fun silly things. When I got married however, some of the more inappropriate “silly” things saw their way to a garage sale. Yeah, we attracted some perverts to that table. A few bargain shopping Mother’s might have been offended. Shop at your own risk lady. Lol. Anyways, these silly things make me laugh when I’m having a bad day. They also remind me that life is a joke. There will always be ups and downs, but the common thread for both of those emotions is laughter.
This is my f#cking piggy bank. A friend gifted it to me as a gag gift many years ago but I’ve been using it as the real thing ever since. I had to beg my husband to let me keep it. The bottom pig gets the quarters and the top gets the nickels and dimes.
This is Terry the Tourettes Turtle. As you walk by him he spurts out tasteless comments and profanities, which of course make me laugh. He says 25 different phrases so you’re bound to learn something new when you come over to my house! I won’t be surprised when you tell me your house is equipped with your very own Terry turtle too!
I like to put pictures on my fridge and what better way to display them than with ridiculous magnets. Here’s a collection of a few favorites! We got a new fridge and a few new rules…aka no more magnets, so they’ve moved to a drawer in my desk where I laugh when I open it.
