Happy 31st Birthday to my soul horse Señor Gonzales! The bond between an animal and human is life’s greatest gift. Watching the kids camp smother him in ❤️ love, birthday 🎶 songs and carrot treats 🥕 filled my heart and his belly!

Gonzales, you are the highlight of my day, my favorite mode of transportation, and cutest spiritual teacher. At 31 (like 90 for us!) your wisdom oozes out of you! Thank you for letting me hear your thoughts and hug you as long as I want. And for being the bestest brother/friend to Whiskey.

You are my treasure.

He wasn’t always this trusting and affectionate horse due to early life trauma. But with “investment in time and consistency in behavior” I gained his trust and taught him the world is safe and loving! Now, G is Mr. Congeniality!💕
